Manage Your Soil Biology for Profit - Build a Firm Foundation for Ongoing Profitability in Your Soil

Creation Innovation Agriculture and Forestry's soil microbiology tests use molecular techniques and microscopy* to identify and quantify soil microbes, including bacteria and fungi. Molecular markers are used to group and quantify microorganisms*, providing fast and accurate results that assist and inform decision-making.

Reports include useful tools* that help you to understand, manage and track your soil biology, such as:

  • Soil biological diversity ('soil biological health')
  • Quantities of different microorganisms
  • Images of actual microorganisms from each sample
  • Basic interpretation

These tools make it easy to:

  • Understand what's in each sample
  • Make agronomic decisions and recommendations
  • Track changes in soil biology over time

* Depending on selected test(s)

For information on available tests and prices please see our test flyer. Detailed interpretations and custom tests to suit your particular requirements are also available.

Put soil biology to work for you by understanding what's in your soil and how your management decisions can change it for the better.

Affordable, easy-to-understand tests that put you in control.

"Unlike other tests, these tests use molecular techniques to identify microbe groups by detecting signature molecules in their cells.  The quantities of these molecules are measured to give accurate report of the numbers and proportions of different microbe groups, such as aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, azotobacter, fungal groups, such as yeasts, basidiomycetes, etc., actinomycetes and others.  They also give an estimate of the amount of nutrients (N, P, K, S, Ca, etc.) held in the biomass and some ratios such as bacteria:fungi.  Another useful tool is the biological diversity rating, which allows you to graphically see the amount of microbe biodiversity in each sample, obviously the higher the better.  You can also request custom tests to suit anything else you are interested in monitoring, for example total soil carbon vs glomalin."
