A concrete and credible testing method for organic could go a long way in raising consumers' trust and value in organic products; by identifying businesses making fraudulent organic claims, and product mixing.

An unforeseen danger has begun to emerge with the growing use of nanoparticles causing a new form of unregulated pollution that has the potential to harm the environment, Dr Tomas Vanek from the Laboratory of Plant Biotechnologies in the Czech Republic warned the CleanUp 09 conference in Adelaide today.

New study demonstrates significant harm from just ONE mercury-containing vaccine

A new study, just published in the journal Neurotoxicology, found that primates that received just ONE vaccination containing Thiomersal, the mercury-preservative found in many vaccines including the new AH1N1 (swine flu) shot, had significant neurological impairment when compared with those who received a saline solution injection or no injection at all. Please note that the amount of Thiomersal was adjusted for weight and that these primates received only 2mcg - the new Swine Flu vaccine contains 24.5mcg or 49 times the FDA allowable daily limit for an adult.

Thanks again to all who attended the recent Crop Tour. We enjoyed it and the feedback is you guys did too, and as much as anything else there is real value in simply allowing growers to learn from growers with help from people like us to put the structure and technical detail in place.

The day confirmed that biological farming is about systems management, nutrition (the what, where and when), minimising disease pressure and maximising beneficial biology in a variety of soil types.
