Weekly Health Tip from Phillip Day

This topic has engaged my interest and investigation for over twenty years and I have published five books on the subject.  I became interested in cancer because my relatives kept dying of it in spite of the doctors' best efforts to fix them. The broad-strokes of cancer and why we fail with it (when we shouldn't) can be summarised as follows:

  • The medical establishment has no cure for cancer

  • More people today are making a living from cancer than are dying from it[1]

  • They have re-defined the word ‘survive' to mean you've ‘made it' if you're still alive five years after initial treatment!

  • In fact, more advanced diagnostic techniques have brought time to be able to claim ‘80% of women are surviving breast cancer' by this rule, when it should be considered whether these women survive the disease at all whatever the time-frame

  • My extensive investigations reveal the orthodoxy has got the wrong end of the stick about cancer. More and more doctors agree

  • Cancer, according to Professor John Beard, is a healing process that has not terminated upon completion of its task

  • Clinical evidence shows a person's chances of surviving cancer are dramatically improved by making certain dietary, stress and lifestyle changes

  • There are at least eighteen extant cultures who do not get cancer or show almost no incidence of the disease in their society

  • These have been well studied by scientists and physicians, who conclude that diets, lifestyle and lack of industrial development are responsible

  • Nature has a veritable power-house of anti-cancer foods that can be used to prevent or reverse the disease

  • The most potent of these are known as the nitrilosides (B17 foods)

  • A 2006 Rome study showed folates are also highly effective in preventing cancer. Other studies deal with the cancer-fighting properties of magnesium and selenium

  • A New York study indicated Vitamin B17 is highly effective at preventing and fighting cancer. Dr Sugiura, one of America's most eminent cancer researchers, recommended immediate further study

  • His results were obfuscated and ignored

  • The B Complex, including B17 (amygdalin) are excellent cancer fighters, as are Vitamins C, E and A

  • Cancer patients have acidic body systems

  • Societies who don't get cancer have alkali body systems

  • Alkalising the body wrecks the environment cancer depends on to thrive

  • Alkalising the body depends on diet, hydration and lifestyle changes

  • Most cancer doctors receive almost no training in nutrition

  • They rarely make reference to diet being a deciding factor in a patient's survival

  • They are trained to go after the symptoms of the disease (i.e. tumours, lesions), not the underlying reason the patient got cancer in the first place

  • Most orthodox cancer treatments are themselves cancer-causing/spreading

  • Some chemotherapies are ex-chemical warfare agents

  • Radiation causes cancer

  • Cancer charities raise money for the pharmaceutical industry to come up with a drug cure or other patented treatment

  • By contrast, little investment is made into researching food since there's no pay-off at the end of it

  • You'd be amazed at the real cancer story
