The companies and consultancies listed in this section have been generous enough to support the on-going running of this website and newsletter*. Their products and services work with nature and support the philosophy of this site. I encourage you to take the time to seek them out and support them generously.

* If you are interested in what sponsors get in return, or would like to know how to support this site too, please read on...

Up to the end of 2008, this site was fully subsidised by the income earnings of From The Soil Up, but as of 2009 onwards, From The Soil Up decided to cease sales and services voluntarily (to follow that story, read under What's New... in the FTSU Newsletter Archives from 11th November 2008 forward).

It was with great joy that a number of companies and consultancies stepped forward to pledge their support to keep the website, and more importantly the weekly newsletter running. In the end the following proposal was put together:

The offer is open to any interested person/business or entity that works within the biological arena:

They pay a $500ex GST one-off annual 'advertising' fee (starting January 2009) that guarantees a minimum of 5 newsletter stories or links about them during the year - be they case studies, product information, workshops etc.* Wherever relevant, their link will be listed under a particular service or product on the website. In addition, a dedicated webpage on the FTSU website under Featured Sponsors can be created on request (using their input, updates and pictures).

Stories on other paying or non-paying businesses or consultancies will not be excluded from the newsletter - the spirit and style of the newsletter will be maintained.  The intention is to continue to pass on ANY information that takes the editor's fancy, as it always has (and that will always remain a prerogative!).

Feel free to contact me about these ideas, to book in your request for next year, or make other suggestions or offers.
